Question:
Tekken, Street Fighter, King of Fighters and Mortal Kombat cross over?

What would happen if Tekken, Street Fighter, King of Fighters and Mortal Kombat crossed over as a single fighting game?

This is what I consider if this DID happen.

- The game will probably have atleast 10 - 15 iconic characters from each series.
- The game will have four fighting styles:
- Kombat style Characters can perform fatalities (or in Street Fighter, KOF's and Tekken's case Brutalities like the DC characters did...) if the opponents health is low enough or in the red/ X- ray moves will be availible for each character (Example Ryu: Shin Shoryuken - Ryu's fist will ram into the opponents rib cage and then the other fist will break the opponents chin...?)/ Breakers will be availible. (break out of combos.)
- Iron Fist style: Rage mode will be availible / Characters can roll out the way (brief invincibility frames) after being knockdown/ bound system will be active/ character will "side step dash" forward or backward to avoid attacks.
- KOF style: Characters can run/ roll / use DM's/ recover health meter/ charge super meters/ have a knockdown attack/ Dream cancel/ Death Cancels/
- Street Fighter style: Focus Attack - Focus Parrying - Focus Dash Cancels/ Three super gauges (Full guage means Ultra Combo from SF IV)/ Dashing forward and backward/

Boss characters: Geese Howard, Rugal, Krizalid, Zero, O.Zero, Orochi Iori, Igniz, Jinpachi, True Ogre, Azazle, Devil, Devil Jin, Shao Kahn, Kintoro, Montaro, Shang Tsung, M.Bison, Seth, Akuma and Evil Ryu (this is alittle ridiculous, but this coming from four of the most popular and coolest fighting games!)

A storymode, somewhat of a mix between Scenario Campaign and Mortal Kombat's storymode type. (Map overworld, play a few characters... etc...)
- Tag Teaming will be availible (Triple team is pushing alittle too far... this is not Marvel vs Capcom...)
- Items will be unlocked by playing the game under certain circumstances... (example, beating the game with Kyo Kusanagi and Sub-Zero on Medium difficulty and no continues)
- Like the Tekken games, all characters can be customized to an extent.
- There will be unlockable characters

Playable characters:
Tekken - Kazuya, Nina, Jin, Heihachi, Marduk, Steve, Xiaoyu, Julia, Lee, Raven, Yoshimitsu, Paul Phoenix, Lei Wulong, Marshall Law, Bryan Fury, Eddy, Bruce, Anna, Hwoarang, Bob and King

Street Fighter - Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, Guile, Balrog, Alex, Urien, Vega, Sagat, Abel, Cammy, Juri, Rufus, Dee Jay, E. Honda, Blanka, Ibuki, Sakura, Zangief and Hugo

KOF: Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, Joe, Kyo, Iori, Mai, King, Yuri, Vice, Mature, K', Kula, Maxima, Yamazaki, Nameless, K9999, Billy Kane, Rock Howard, Eiji, Blue Mary, Chris, Yashiro and Shermie

Mortal Kombat: Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Mileena, Kitana, Jade, Sonya, Cage, Jax, Stryker, Kabal, Raiden, Shang Tsung, Baraka, Quan Chi, Shinnok, Noob Saibot and Ermac

Q & A
Q: Why so many characters?
A: If Marvel vs Capcom gets away with it, then so can the people who organize and create this game!

Q: Why are there so many KOF bosses?
A: SNK is notorious for creating ridiculous boss fights.

Q: Why SF, MK, Tekken and KOF???
A: These are considered the most popular, competitive and playable games at this point and time. They always will be.
Street Fighter and Art of Fighting set the standards for most 2D fighters. (Sorry casual fans, but the same people who created the first Street Fighter ALSO created Art of Fighting so get that SF bug out of your a**)
Without Street Fighter, we don't have combos, parries, focus attacks or Alpha counters.
Without KOF, we don't have DM's, super meters, charge meters, rolling, dodging or cancels.
Tekken and Virtua Fighter both set the standards for most 3D fighters.
Without Tekken (or even VF) there won't be any side stepping, realistic fight engines, long move sets, rage systems or any of the sort.
Without Mortal Kombat, there will never be any finishing moves, air juggles, air combos, dial-a-combos, environmental uses for fighting and finishing moves and multi-tiered stages.

Q: Why isn't Dead or Alive in the rosters?
A: Because the purpose of this game is not boob physics or "how high she kicks." The only thing the series will ever be known for IS going to be the fanservice.

Q: Why isn't Guilty Gear in the rosters?
A: I don't know... its an awesome fighting to say the least.

Q: Soul Caliber?
A: Same as above.

What do you guys think will happen? What do you guys think of this detail?

put it simply, every fighting game character and games styles and play could fit into the 1 game but it would take a lot of work so all those restriction ur talking about is kinda stupid, 5 iconic character from each, through in every character from each n it would b all good (as a HVD disc could hold a game like that and more).

if u want to play a game with all the character go n play M.U.G.E.N (even tho i always thought Capcom should take that over or make something similar)

also at the end of the day most popular does not mean anything as there always unknown games that are just as good as the others if not better and not only in the fighting genre

plus i think this MIGHT happen sooner or later as everyone is making crossovers, SFxTK and TKxSF is next.

maybe u shouldn't limit it to just fighting games maybe u should have just says what if each of these companies came all made 1 fighting game as they always through in characters that are not from their fighting games.

DOA is not about what u said, its system is based on countering, u cant counter n ur screwed.

Guilty Gear being included would b unfair as they can do 1 move kill for the start of the round.

Soul Calibur would work fine as well as they would bring weapons to the game.

u missed out Killer Instinct, they would also be unfair as the can do combos from full health to empty and continue but i guess thats what combo breakers are for.

u also left out BlazBlue, made by the makers of Guilty Gear as the lost the rights to that game, BB is the most technical fighting game around right now making it awesome

other games u left out are:

Samurai Spirits/Shodown

Bloody Roar

Melty Blood

Arcana Heart

DBZ

The Rumble Fish

Fatal Fury

Tatsunoko vs Capcom

Rival Schools

Virtua Fighter

and quiet a few theres.
