WoW: MoP or SW: TOR ?!?

Question

I have to decide which one I'll play the next year. Currently I've cancelled my wow subsciption because I've grown bored but maybe MOP will change that. I'll have to buy a new PC to play SW: TOR.
However, SW: TOR has the promise of incredible story and I played both KOTOR 1 and 2 and I loved it.
Still I have a lot of friends in WoW but some of them are moving to SWTOR too...
I know I'll spend a lot of time playing so its a big decision and I am divided.

PS: Please no video game haters, I am not telling you what to do with your free time and its the least vice a man can have....

Star Wars The Old Republic is an amazing game, probably the best MMO out there, despite what WoW fan boys will say. Since you also liked KOTOR and a lot of your friends are joining the SWTOR community, it seems to me that is your best choice. If I was a betting man, after seeing the crappy trailer for patch 4.3, and how easy it was to beat Dragon Soul 8/8 I'd bet that blizzard has pretty much given up on WoW as is stinging every last penny out of the game that they can.



They are probably working hard out on Titan Project, the new MMO they plan to release in a couple years, but this is way down the line. So as for now, I'd get SWTOR.

SW:TOR could be the best MMO game on the market. But the key word is "could". I am sure that BioWare copy and use every interesting idea from many others MMO games, at the same time trying to avoid their mistakes. However this is a huge project and on the beginning we can expect - as usual - many problems, bugs etc. We will see how fast producers fix them. Remember - if SW:TOR does not meet your expectations you can always back to WoW.

Personally I am sure that I will buy MoP even if SW:TOR will be almost perfect game (there is no perfect game ;) ). I spent to many years in WoW to leave next expansion ;D. But most probably I will play Star Wars next months/years :)
