Okay,. So i'm pretty sure many simmers out there like me are getting sorta bored of The Sims 3. The challenges don't do much, the game is buggy as sh** and C-A-S is just laggy.
The game it self is great, without the lag..and the bugs..and glitches.
EA should just put S4 on hold and fix sims 3, do a HUGE update on it. Fix the bugs, glitches maybe through in a few items. Now, Don't take this the wrong way I LOVED sims 3, But after 6 years of new expansion packs, CC and mods it just gets old like every other game.

~Sims 4~

EA shouldnt be releasing Sims 4 yet..Well..They should wait a little bit, They announced Sims 3 in May 2013, So only 12 months ago and the game is coming out in 3 months. Which equals 15 months total.
Sims 4 looks like a fantastic game, but with Sims 3 as buggy as it is, How is this going to be less buggy? 15 months isn't a lot for a giant game like Sims 4. 3 months is 12 weeks, and if you even narrow that down its 77 days...77 days to create items, fix glitches, add buildings and such, Oh EA..

I am totally excited for S4, but Im not going to buy the game until i see a Lets play of it.

Anyone agree or did i just make simmers mad?

Sorry if i did, i am in just a ranting mood.

I agree with you. Sims 3 has had serious bugs ever since World Adventures and they've never bothered to fix it.

The thing is though, their attitude is why should the fix it? Fans still buy the game, still buy newer expansion packs, and still buy stuff from the exchange. Why put the programmers on the task of fixing bugs for free, when they could put them on developing new content they can charge for?

That's EA for you.

I agree with you that they shouldn't be releasing Sims 4, but not only because Sims 3 is still buggy. I think the reason they shouldn't release it yet is because they need to add *real* multiplayer into it. That addition would make a new Sims game worth it. Otherwise all we'll be getting is basically the same game that we have to rebuy everything for in future expansion packs.

Announcement does not equal how long it's been in development. You're not the company, you haven't been making the game, you have no idea where they stand as far as where it is in development, or how buggy it is.

But yes it is EA and it is the Sims. One way or another it's going to have bugs, get over it. Every game has bugs, and most of the time the larger bugs get fixed pretty quickly with a patch, or the forums light up with solutions.

As for being bored with the Sims 3... I have my spurts where I play it for a long time, then get bored and don't play it for months at a time. That's how the Sims has always been, and how it will likely be for me. I haven't played the Sims for a long stable period since the Sims 2 Open for Business expac came out. Still the greatest Sims expansion to me since Magin Magic for the Sims 1. Though all in all I have to admit the Sims 3 has by far had some pretty great expansions, I'd say it's the Sims games with the best expansions anyway. A lot of them are also very similar to the great ones for previous sims (pets, obviously, seasons, supernatural (Magin Magic) Night Life, and University.

What do you expect, it is EA after all. You know, the company that is taking the position of worst gaming company, next to Ubisoft of course.
