Question:
What is a site that gives news on official upcoming games? ?

I'm looking for a site that gives you the latest news on NEW and UPCOMING announced games, that is official of course. If I were to just go to that site, I would be able to find out about all the new and upcoming games. I'm obviously not looking for a site with bogus false information. Anybody know of any?

What kind of games, and for what system? I usually check out xboxlive.com for all my 360 game reviews, which tells me of the announced upcoming games, and gives me a link to that developers site directly.

You can check sites like gamespot.com or ign.com They usually give good information about upcoming releases. Just make sure to read their official articles, and not the articles of the users.

IGN, they are one of the best gaming site on the web that I have found. It's free to be a member and if you join, you can set up your profile so that you get e-mails from them about upcoming games. You can also ask for e-mails about games that are already out and they will send you things like strategies for certain levels, help getting through tough ares, the location of hidden items, and much more!

I read Joystiq (http://joystiq.com) which is a news blog that covers all major releases on all platforms (PC, consoles, handhelds)

They cover everything from game announcements, early looks, previews, reveiws, etc. They do report rumors, but are very good about providing their sources, and also give you their own gut feeling about how likely the rumor is to be true or not. As more information is released - such as a confirmation or, more likely, an official denial, they'll update and post that too.
