I assume you mean you're saving 5000g needed for the epic flight training. You still have some time if you are 65. I wouldn't bother with any riding training until you are 77 since you will be spending most of your time in northrend after level 68. To learn the riding skill that allows you to fly it will cost you 800g and then cold weather flying (which you can learn at 77 to be able to fly in northrend) will cost you 1000g. That will put you with the +60% speed flying mount. When you have 5000g you can learn the flying skill that allows you to use the +280% flying speed mount.

Once you have the epic flying skill you have quite a few more choices for mounts. You can get all the regular mounts for the horde races by raising your reputations to exalted with all of them or you can spend 30 marks from each of the battlegrounds to buy the Black War version of the mount. Certain professions like engineering and tailoring allow you to make mounts like the Turbo Charged Flying machine and the Flying Carpet. You can also get flying Drake mounts by raising your Wyrmrest rep to exalted or doing the daily quests for the oracles to get an egg, which hatches, if you are lucky, into a drake mount.

You can get any horde mount by either working up enough reputation or buying the pvp mount with battleground tokens.

There are also some instance drop mounts, but they're hard to get.

Em...you can learn it the usual way but it would be stupid IMO. The Paladin Horse is nice. You can have every racial mounts by being exalted to them or by getting Battlegrounds token and buying their pvp colors.
