Can not get on to xbox live? Help?

I have AT&T wireless (2-Wire gateway) I use @ home. I am trying to use a D-link (WBR-2310) to link that is linked to my Xbox 360, I am trying to access “xbox live” this way. I am having trouble accessing my network with my 360. Need help.

If you are using a wireless setup you should have no problem, especially with AT&T. Go to network settings and search for your wireless network. It should be 2WIRE___, select your wireless network and enter the WEP key (this is a number [-----------] on the bottom of your 2wire modem. You shouldn't need a seperate router. You do have a wireless 360 adapter don't you? If not, you will need one attatched to your 360 so that is can pick up the wireless signal.

If it's a modded Xbox then you are out of luck. Microsoft disabled around a million of them recently because they considered the mods illegal. Similar in nature to downloading illegal content off the web.

they told me d link does not work most of the time. but just check your settings
