Final Fantasy XIII Question... (concerning upgrading accessories...)?

Another FFXIII question...

I'm confused because in the section on 'ITEMS' on the Guide it says:

Whistlewind Scarf: ATB Advantage (turns into)
Aurora Scarf: First Strike (turns into)
Nimbletoe Boots: Improved Evasion

Does this mean since I just upgraded the Whistlewind Scarf to Nimbletoe boots that it loses the first strike/ATB advantage ability? Should I just buy another whistlewind scarf if so? Or does the boots have all effects?

Yes, it does lose it's effect. You can probably just find one in the guide somewhere instead of buying another one, though. However, Nimbletoe Boots and Whistlewind Scarf still have the same Hidden Ability (I forget what the guide calls it).

It does carry over. :) Do not give one item too much experience because you change weapons quite a lot. Some items raise the multiplier and some raise the experience so experiment!
