my first necro ever was faustVI. just do anything with "faust", and you will sound like a renowned necro.

your stats depends on your fighting type. i've never had much exp with a poison dagger necro. for the bone projectile necro and the summoner, i used two to energy, two to vitality, and one to strength every level. my first necro, which was a summoner necro, had the decent strength to don armor and weapons to defend himself from the enemies that got past his summons. in general, you won't need much mana in the beginning. however, i advise that you keep putting points in mana, since the most powerful summons acquired at lvl 30, the revives, take a lot of mana, and they live for only 180 seconds. you should limit your curses to amplify damage, iron maiden, life tap, and lower resist. be sure to max out skelly resist before anything else. only put 3 points in skelly mage and warriors, since you will need to put more than one point in order to gain another fighter after the third skill level (not character level). so for example, to attain another skeleton fighter after level 3, you would need to spend 2 or 3 points. just put one point to every golem. a great item for the summoner is the undead crown.
the bone necro is quite easy =D. when you start off, just put all your points into teeth. at level 6, get a golem, and then put two points or so into bone armor. keep going, and when you hit level 12, get a point into bone wall. make sure that you have all the prequisites for the bone spear at lvl 18. then, keep putting points into bone spear until lvl 24, where you should put a point into bone prison. then, put keep putting points into bone spear until you max out, or cannot put anymore points. then, focus on bone spirit. after maxing bone spirit. you should deal hard damage, since all the skills power each other up. from that fact, after maxing bone spirit, just put points into the stuff that powers up bone spirit or bone spear (you should determine which attack you like more). a great wand would be the ume's lament. i got one, and it gives you +2 necro skills, decreify, and other stuff. it lets you cast 20% faster too.

necros are fun =D. my brother's summoner wields an army of about 32 =D. but it sucks when the game LAGS LIKE CRAZY DUE TO ALL THE SUMMONS. XD
