How do I earn the right to shapeshift as a night elf druid on WoW?

I'm already level 10 and the druid trainer doesn't have the shapeshifting abilities available to train.. any ideas on this?

Your druid trainer should have given you a skill to travel to Moonglade, or at least something to travel there, he probably gave your a quest to talk to someone in Moonglade too, use Teleport to Moonglade and then you can get bear form.

Alright Since he's lvl 10 he should go talk to the druid trainer he should be able to get a quest from him telling him to go speak to some sort of a great animal(cant remember what type) he'll also give him a spell which teleports him to a place made for druids once there it might take him a while to find the person he needs to find (i know it took me a while :( ) he is in the forest some where . after that i think it will tell him to go back to the druid trainer once he turns in the quest he should be able to transform into a bear. Level 10 you get a class quest from the druid trainer in darnasus, when you complete it you get bear form. At level 16 you learn travel form for druid, 20 you learn cat form. Just have to level.

Almost. There are several druid trainers. Only the one at the top of the spiral stairs offers this quest. If you stop at one of the trainers in the lobby, you won't see this.



The guy upstairs (not the snotty guy in the penthouse) has a quest to go to Moonglade to see the guy who will dispatch you to find the bear spirit in Moonglade. You get a Moonglade spell to use to teleport there. (You get to keep this and it's a great way to get back to Kalimdor from the Eastern

Later in your mid-teens you get a quest from the same guy to see the same guy in Moonglade to get your sealion form. That quest is much harder. See the guides at Thottbot, Allakhazam, and Goblin Workshop to see all the tricks on how to deal with that one.



You get a similar quest at level 20 for cat form.
