Hi, you got the same problem as mine..

But in my case I use Windows XP Service Pack-3 as my OS and I already have reformatted my harddisk and put the game directory in another partition of my harddisk..

I can give you some tips to restore the game registries in Windows, but make sure your OS is not 64-bit, such as Vista-64 bit, Seven 64-bit or XP 64-bit. 64bit Windows use slightly different keys and causing certain issues on game play using the same registry that I'll show you later..

Ok, assuming you're using WInXp and putting your PES directory in :

"C:\Games\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2010".

Make sure inside the directory you have complete files of PES2010, such as:

"Pes2010.exe" file

"setting.exe" file, and last...

"img" folder with complete sets of files inside.

There are 2 registry files you should create..

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Use WIndows Notepad and save them using .reg extensions.

- Modify certain lines that match your PES directory

- For Directory symbol "\" make it double, like "\\",

example: "C:\Games\KONAMI" becomes "C:\\Games\\KONAMI

- In later registry entries I assume you use : "C:\Games\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2010"

(you can change it as you wish with certain adjustments)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are the registry keys

1. First Registry entries -- save it as : "MUICache.reg"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache]

"C:\\Games\\KONAMI\\Pro Evolution Soccer 2010\\pes2010.exe"="Pro Evolution Soccer 2010"

"C:\\Games\\KONAMI\\Pro Evolution Soccer 2010\\settings.exe"="Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 Settings"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Second Registry entries -- save it as : "HKLM.reg"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KONAMI]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KONAMI\PES2010]

"code"="5HRV-LVRU-F75R-MV2L-RK45"

"installdir"="C:\\Games\\KONAMI\\Pro Evolution Soccer 2010\\"

"version"="1.00.0000"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Notes :

- "code" line in second registry entries is my PES Serial Number, try your number if you still have it

incase the code is not working.

- After you save your registry entries, just double-click it, and I hope you're game will run as

you expected

Cheers

You're going to get fired today, anyway. I have a feeling you're not very sneaky... and your boss banned you from this place. I think you should try extra hard not to laugh at fart jokes. I know it's tough... but think of your drug habit.
