Halo 3 Armour Question?

Question

When your designing your Multi-player Armour you get the choice of differnt helmets and Plates etc..

How do you unlock the others? do you have to be connected to XBOXLIVE? or is it the campaign?

Help would be brilliant =]

Also does anyone know how many missions are in the Halo3 Campaign?

Most of the armour permutations can be unlocked by winning achievements in Xbox Live Multiplayer. Only a few can be unlocked by finishing the Campaign.



One special armour for the Spartan model can be unlocked when you get all skulls from the Campaign. It appears that there are more Spartan Armour than the Elites Armour

EOD Armor - Complete Tsavo Highway on Legendary

EOD Helmet - Complete the campaign on Legendary

EOD Shoulders - Complete the Ark on Legendary



EVA Armor - Complete Tsavo Highway on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary

EVA Helmet - Complete the campaign on Normal

EVA Shoulders - Complete the Ark on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary



Scout Armor - Get "Too Close To The Sun" Achievement

Scout Helmet - Get "Used Car Salesman" Achievement

Scout Shoulders - Get "Mongoose Mowdown" Achievement



Security Helmet - Get 1,000 Gamerscore points (earn all achievements)

Security Shoulders - Get 750 Gamerscore points

ODST Helmet - Get "Spartan Graduate" Achievement

I also believe there is 9 levels total

1: Arrival/Sierra 117

2: Crow's Nest

3: Tsavo Highway

4: The Storm

5: Floodgate

6: The Ark

7: The Covenant

8: Cortana

9: Halo

there is actually 10 if you split arrival and sierra 117 but since the arrival is so brief i count them as one.

you need to be connected to xbox live and when you rank up on xbox live you unlock more armour helmets etc.

There are 9 missions not counting the arrivial.

sublittle is right, but i would try to get the skull armor because it is the best looking
