Is it possible to skip the torture scene in GTA 5? or do I have to get a friend to play that scene, while I leave the room?

No you can't skip the mission as it plays a very strong part in the storyline. You can get someone else to play it for you, although if you don't like violence that much then why are you playing a game which is based around violence?

Pretty sure it's unskippable. But if you have that much of an issue with it, you need to go play something else. No offense, but it's just a video game.

You're forced to torture him once, I recommend choosing the wrench, look away and all you have to do is click once, in a few seconds you will switch to Michael. Kill the guy in the red shirt and a beard and holding a smoke in his left hand, and you will not have to do any more torturing.

It is kind of skippable. You do have to use one method on the guy but after that you can simply kill the target if you know what he looks like.
When I did this mission the second time round, I selected what I figured was the lesser of the torture choices (if there is indeed one!). When I then switched to Micheal I simply shot the target. He's pretty easy to spot, he has a red shirt on, black hair and beard and constantly smokes. Quite a stout guy too. Job done, no more torture for that poor soul.
But if you don't even want to do any torture then get a friend to do it.
There is also the inbuilt skip to next part of mission though. Fail an objective 3 times and you skip to next one don't know how that would work in this mission though.
