Sims 3: My sim is stuck?

my teenage sim is stuck between the table and the sofa D:
theres plenty of room to move! but even her face wont show up on that square tht you click on to control her! and when you press the spacebar to switch people it just skips her. Idk what to do! even the reset sim cheat wont work ):
Oh and i created a copy of this house hold before she got stuck, just incase; but now when i go into that game none of the characters will load! it just stays on one of the teens but it wont show their face, and those squares to click on different people wont show up! when i click for them to walk somewhere, the option is grey. help!! please!

Did you save the game at any point when she was stuck? This may have corrupted the save file.



Alternatively, are you using any mods that haven't been updated which could be causing game corruption? Or have you deleted any items that you have downloaded while they were still in the sims inventory? Any of these could cause issues with the sim.



There is one last thing you can try: enable the "moveobjects" cheat and the "testingcheatsenabled" one. Go into build mode, use the hand/grab tool to grab and delete the sim. Go back to live mode and use the reset sim cheat again.



If that doesn't work, the save is corrupt and you will have to use your earlier save.

Did you try moving the furniture that she's stuck between?

I mean, I haven't played my Sims 3 game yet (no DVD drive), but that's how I fixed it in the Sims 2 when it happened to me...

Hnnn, that's rough. I had a house that was really well furnished, and sims would always get caught inbetween furniture and glitch. Try 'testingcheatsenabled true', and then try 'moveobjects on'. See if you can grab that sim (that cheat makes moving sims possible).

You can use a hack that sends a murderer into the game and kills off all the sims so you will be able to restart your sim world. just hold ctrl f4 and it will fix it for you!
