MW2 PS3 online He WON'T DIE?

Just now finished a game of MW2 S&D and a guy would not die! No matter what gun you use, it should be capable of killing anyone without needing to use up the entire magazine. This was different with this eighth prestige.. I have a Vector that I have been training with and it has been capable of a lot. But when I encounter this guy I shoot at him with complete accuracy dead on him and he doesn't die! He just kills me with his little ump with two freakin bullets...This is the ONLY guy this is happening on. I got frustrated because he doesn't die until I killed off another one of his nooby teammates and stole his ump and shot him in the head. Why will he not die against my vector?? Also, the iron sights may fail that's why I have holographic, stopping power(due to vectors low damage), scavenger(due to vector's low amount of ammo), and commando which doesn't really matter..and when kill cam showed up he received very little freakin damage but also showed I didn't miss him but two to three times but I used up the entire magazine! Two or three misses doesn't matter!

This has been happening a lot. Even on Xbox 360. With all the recent updates and hidden updates that Infinity Ward has been having to do, their balance in weapon strength fails every so often. It is a repeating cycle for 360, not sure of PS3, but I am certain for the console as well. What I mean is: One update - one gun is strong beyond compare. Next update - weak as hell, can't kill unless it is aimed at chin level. Next update - repeats the strong cycle. This week happened to be the Vector's turn. A few weeks ago, it seemed like the Carbine. Then the WA2000. I do not know if this is a good answer for you, but in my terms it seems to have something to do with game tweaking that Infinity Ward is "experimenting" with and not telling its fellow players.

Okay here's the thing. Ump45 = the most over-powered gun in the game, its just how it is. Vector is one of my favourite guns to, but it will never beat the ump in a battle.

Things you should do:

1. Seeing as everyone uses the ump is search, you use it.

2. If your going to use the vector in a search match you have to avoid a close combat with someone.

3. Follow #2 and have a secondary that you can take out that's powerful. E.g Akimbo G18's.
