Oh, please. Your wife needs to loosen the leash a little. My grandpa is almost 60 and still plays CoD. He plays almost every day. He's actually who bought me my MW3 xbox, because he understands the gaming aspect of life.

I think that the gaming is fine as long as its not your type priority. If there's something that needs to be done around the house, do it. And then worry about gaming.

Dude, anyone who tells you your too old for gaming is talking **** You are too old for gaming when YOU say you are, I mean seriously, I know of an 79 year old "gamer granny" who blogs about her gaming exploits, your 28, if there was an age where one is considered too old to game (which there isn't) it would be way ahead of you, so don't worry, play all the games you want. Especially if you mean what you say about putting everything else before gaming, your hobby is your choice, if you want to spend some of your free time playing Playstation, well then do it!

You can never be too old for gaming if you still enjoy it.

I still game a lot and i'm in my mid thirties. If not for my love of gaming i wouldn't know a thing about computers but as it stands, i have learned how to build, upgrade, repair computers and i'm pretty damn good with software as well.

I still game with a guy who's 55.

As long as it doesn't take over your life, gaming is fine. People go watch movies as an escape, they read novels for an escape. Gaming is the same. It's a perfectly healthy escape from reality. We all need a break from stress. But it's only healthy if you only spend a reasonable amount of time doing it.

I know 45 year olds who love nothing more than jumping online and racing their friends/contacts around in F1 cars.

Most people spend their evenings watching meaningless crap on TV - is that a better use of time ?

People don't complain when you watch sports on TV - and a sport is a game.

People like you and me represent a generation that has grown up with computer games, for us it is a natural hobby. Not everybody likes games, those who don't like games think its a waste of time.

I'm over 30, and all my other gamer friends are over 30.

People that tell you you shouldn't practice a hobby that doesn't harm anybody, and is legal, are just jelous and wish they could do it.

I'm in my 30's and I have all the console and just bought the 3DS and love it. I plan to play till the day I die, and I don't give a crap about anybody's opinion. It's my money and I spend it how I want to.

Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Nitnendo's most famous video game franchises, is 58, and he still develops and tests games. You are never too old for games, especially if it is just a hobby.

Never too old to have fun right? If you enjoy it and it doesn't affect more important things then keep gaming.

There is no such thing as being 'to' old for gaming.

No offense, but your wife and 'everyone else' are quite ignorant.
