I love the music, the animations, and the Pokemon (aside from a couple) are as great as I remember from my childhood with added enhancements.

I never liked the competitive battling scene. To much EV and IV minmaxing, I mean I tend to minmax somewhat in other rpgs, but with Pokemon its just ridiculous. The effort you need to put in to building an amazing team outweighs any benefit to me. I just play challenge runs or variant runs like Monotype and Solo challenges.
