If your willing to spend the extra money go for the astro. Best headset I have ever purchased in my life by far. I own a TB x1, x3, x4, and a Tritton Ax Pro. Comparing a TB to an astro is like comparing TV speakers to a TB. No joke. The astro has true 5.1 Dolby surround sound...unlike the TB. If money is not a huge problem to you I would say go with the astro. All the pros in MLG use it for a reason, plus it's the same price as the TB, unless you buy it with the Mix amp which I hugely recommend. But trust me,you can hear what people are thinking with this mic...it's that amazing.

I have the x41's and love them. Just buy them from bestbuy and put the protection plan on them and if they do go, your covered!
