R4.DAT—system file

_DS_MENU.DAT—system file

Have you format your card after you delete the last firmware before you put the new one into it, If you do and the card still can not work ,then you should check whether your card can support the latest firmware if can not, recommend you buy a new card You can choose the r4i gold rts card http://gamedepot4u.com/wholesale-genuine-r4i-gold-3ds-rts-card-p-181.html

Hi,

It may be that you card can not support any of the newer versions of the DS or DSi system. Unfortunately, you may need a whole new card. However, there is also the wood r4 firmware, that aims to add support for older r4 ds cards and to make them work on the newer games and newer systems. Try that on your card, as it may help.

Check out the official r4 ds site and download the wood r4 firmware from their downloads section
