Wi-Fi Connection ID help?

i tried everything i can to get a friend code but on my ds. i went to "System Information" and it didn't show my Wi Fi Connection ID. so how do i do it? i'm new to this. (please don't give me mean answers!)

first you go to the wi-fi settings then you go to nintendo wi-fi connection settings then you go to connection 1 or 2 or 3 does not matter when you click on that then go to search for an access point if it comes up click on the name then it will test your connection then there you go it works!
