Does GTA 4 Support iTunes music files?

I am trying to populate the "Independent" Station with my own music. Does this only support MP3 files or does it support downloaded iTunes files?

Music on iTunes are MP3 files (unless you are using WMA) and from what I know, GTA 4 will only support MP3 files - so any music on your iTunes that is MP3 format should be supported and playable on GTA 4.

As the music in iTunes is encrypted with DRM, you cannot directly put it on any non-Apple MP3 player. The easiest way is to burn the music to an audio CD and then rip it back to Windows Media Player or a similar program as an MP3. Or you can get some software to help you. I use TuneClone to do this. Though not free, it is very well worth a try.
