Call of duty Black ops key-bind problem?

hey guys,
Here is what is happening, I don't really know why I can't change my key binds on black ops , it doesn't work at all not even double clicking on the option which is suppose to activate in order to press a key and change it..
hope you can help me


and this is what i've tried so far..

unninstalled the game erasing the files (steam)
updating the video card driver
i run CCleaner
and nothing seems to work

Ummm Treyarch sucks overall. I'm on PC too and my graphics have to be set at 800x600 just to run a okay smooth game. Still lags but better than moving like 1 frame every 5 seconds. IW is better and more forgiving with graphics. Not as detailed as Gayarch... erm i mean Treyarch but very forgiving.

Are you trying to bind stuff to your mouse? I have had this problem with my Logitech mouse, I changed a default mouse button to something else using my mouses software and I couldn't get these binds to register in game. If this is the case (which I hope it is, because it's a easy fix) go to your mouses software and set everything back to default and don't modify any of the binds.



Other than that I can't think of anything, sorry.
