how to update r4i gold non 3ds card?

i want to to update my r4i gold non 3ds card. the one released b4 the r4i gold 3ds card. it works on my 3ds though. now i updated my 3ds to v.2.1.0-4u my r4i gold card doesnt work. what should i do?

As far as i knew, r4i gold card cant use on 3ds,just r4i gold 3ds can support both 3ds and dsi latest latest firmware directly without any updating.



you can try following steps first. :



1.assure your card is from r4ids.cn.

2.download the latest firmware r4i gold 3ds v1.38 and unzip it,open the folder,and copy the root files into your TF card.

3.Insert it in your 3ds console,if you see "SpongeBob;s Atlantis Squarepantis THQ" title,that's to say your r4i gold 3ds can better compatibility your 3ds v2.10_4,if you see "Miami Nights 3D Ubisoft", that's to say your card need to be flashed.

Upgrade R4i Gold with DSi console

1. Install the Latest Wood R4 kernel to the TF card correctly.

2. Download the 3DS20_Patch_R4iGold_3DS_NDSi.nds patch from r4ids.cn to your computer.

3. Unzip the patch, and copy the file to the root directory of TF card.

4. Put the TF card to the R4i Gold card, and insert the R4i Gold to DSi console.

5. Power on your NDSi to enter the mainmenu.

6. Choose the "3DS20_Patch_R4iGold_3DS_NDSi.nds" and boot up.

7. Attention:do not take out your R4ids Gold.

8. Press KEY_A and the updating process will begin.

9. You should keep your NDSi powered on during the updating process.

10. IF the result shows SUCCESS, it means you have updated your R4i Gold with success and this card can work on 3DS 2.1.0-4.

1.Copy V143C_Patch_R4iGOLD_NDSL. nds to your tf card
