hi, i've been having this problem...my theory is that this only affects "MOST" of power user players. but not all..that includes MOST of WAND ranking players. i have found 1 message from GM_Belegnir that they are tryin hard to fix the problem and they are aware of it..all i can say to all of you GB lovers/players (LMAO, like me) is that we have to be patient long enough till its done...(i know, its lame). here's what i have received from my email.
We apologize if you have been unable to play Gunbound Revolution or if your game play has been unstable. We have been working hard to solve the kinds of problems you are experiencing, and we are constantly making progress.
If you have GBWC installed, please uninstall it and then reinstall GBR (go to gunbound.ijji.com and click on the Play Live button). Remember to open TCP/UDP ports 8300-8400. In order to open these ports you will need to access your Router's administrative software; if you need assistance with this please contact your Router's manufacturer (router manual) or your Network Administator.
On your PC, go to Start>Control Panel>User Accounts to verify your account has Administrator privileges.
If you are having trouble connecting to the game, please try these suggestions in order. Try to login and play after each step by clicking on the Play Live button on gunbound.ijji.com. If you are able to play and/or the instability disappears, there is no need to complete the rest of the steps. If they fail, proceed to the next step. If after trying each one of these options you still cannot play, contact us again through the Helpdesk and provide us with as much information as you can. Include the steps you take before you encounter the problem, what you have done to try to fix it, your login ID, game ID, and Gunbound email address, your computer hardware setup, and any screenshots that could be of help.
1) Close all Ijji games and other Internet Explorer windows, then reopen IE to gunbound.ijji.com.
2) Delete your cookies - you can do this by selecting Internet Options from the Tools menu in Internet Explorer and clicking on the Delete Cookies button (deleting your cookies may delete saved internet data from other web sites, but you can re-enter that data upon returning to those sites). Then repeat step 1.
3) Restart your computer.
4) Make sure your connection is clean and stable, that you are not getting disconnected or having temporary connection outages. You can test this by playing other online games or downloading large files (such as Gunbound, other games, or movies). If the download or game play gets interrupted, something may be wrong with your connection. Contact your phone or Cable Company and/or your Internet Service Provider.
5) Uninstall Gunbound Revolution using the Windows Control Panel (select Add or Remove Programs, then look for Gunbound and click the Remove button). Then re-download and reinstall Gunbound by going to gunbound.ijji.com and clicking on the Play Live button.
6) Repeat step 5 and then delete the Ijji folder from your C drive as well (located at C:\ijji) before reinstalling Gunbound.
7) If you are using any kind of software or hardware firewall (such as Norton Internet Security) or any antivirus, antispam, or antispyware, try turning it off, at least until you get Gunbound running.
If you are still having issues after following all of the steps above please click "Update Question," attach your DxDiag.txt file and respond to the ticket.
To get your dxdiag.txt file, follow these instructions:
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type Dxdiag, and then click OK.
3. Click on "save all information"
4. Save the file somewhere you will remember
5. Attach the dxdiag.txt file with your next response to us
Once we receive the DxDiag we will be better able to troubleshoot the issue with you.
