Do Cloud & Tifa have a family of their own?

I was watching the FF movie Advent Children, and I saw a picture of Cloud, Tifa, the little boy, & girl. I heard that people said Tifa was the mother of the kids in Edge... I don't quite understand Cloud & Tifa's relationship. I just thought Tifa had strong feelings for Cloud but he would never feel that way for her. Also, if they did really have kids, Cloud, I never knew you had it in ya. But anyways, please help me understand!! Thank you!!!!

They don't really make it clear whether or not Cloud and Tifa are "together", but they do live together with Denzel and Marlene. Denzel is a child suffering from the disease Geostigma that now lives with Cloud, Tifa, and Marlene above the bar. He is the son of a woman named Chloe and a guy that worked for Shinra named Abel I think. After the sector 7 plate collapsed, he was orphaned. He then went on to live with Reeve Tuesti's mother before she was killed when the lifestream burst forth to stop Meteor. After that, he eventually made his way to Edge and met Tifa, Cloud, and Marlene. Marlene, I hope, doesn't need much of an explanation, as she is Barret's adopted daughter from FF7. When Barret is away on business(almost all the time), Marlene stays with Cloud and Tifa. Thus, the four of them consider themselves a family of sorts, mother, father, sister, brother. As far as Tifa being the mother of the children of Edge, I do know that at one point in AC Barret calls Tifa Momma in reference to Denzel, who most likely does consider her his mother. As far as the rest of the kids, well, Tifa is a nice lady and probably gives them food and water and stuff when she can. She probably tries to take care of them as a sort of mother figure.

No, those 2 kids are orphans that Tifa took in and takes care of. Cloud just works for Tifa as a Delivery boy. He occasionally stays over.

One of the kids is Marlene, who is Dyne's daughter. Dyne is a character who kills himself in FF7. The other kid Denzel is an orphan, or that's what I was led to believe considering the Geostigma that's killing people off (ie his parents), and there's no mention whatsoever of any children belonging to Cloud or Tifa. I think when it says Tifa is the mother, it means metaphorically, not literally. This metaphor draws a fairly obvious parallel with all the clones referring to Jenova as mother, despite her not being an actual mother at all. Also, considering Advent Children is set two years after FF7, and all of the children are older than two years.
