Elder Scrolls Skyrim Bug -Thieves Guild "The Pursuit"- Karliah is stuck!?

Question

I'm really hoping that this can be resolved some how, or that a future patch resolves it.

The situation is, I did a string of quests and got to a point where I was in a tavern's celler in Winterhold with Karliah, and she says that she'll meet me at the Ragged Flaggon in Riften. However, she's stuck and won't move. She's just standing in the cellar in Winterhold. She won't talk, and just says 'make it quick'.

Is there a way to reset the quest, or get her to move, or is there a spell to make her follow me out of the building? I deleted my saved games already, so loading a previous game is out of the question.

i have the same problem but she is moving and she tells me to meet her in Ragged Flaggon in Riften,but she is not there..and i dont get The Pursuit quest when i finish tallking with here..can any one please help me?Thank you very much in advance!

Assuming you're on PC. This h happend to me also, and I had to "cheat" to fix it.



Press your Tilda key (~) and type "setstage TG07 10"



This should let you skip the part to meet her, and start up the follow part.



I had to do this on another quest also, the one for the college. I had no light beams :/

Edit: The only thing I know of for the 360 is to start completely over, or just ignore that quest. I would assume that in due time, there will be a save game editor once mods start popping in and out for Skyrim.

I have the exact same problem, tried SETSTAGE but it won't help as Karliah still doesn't move. Only the journal updates but none of the characters of the guild will speak to you, not even Brynjolf, which is kind of a problem... haven't tried skipping the whole quest but I wouldn't do that anyway...best we wait for an update...

Unfortunately, the best advice that I have for you at this time concerning your particular issue is to revert to an earlier save, possibly before you became a werewolf if there are any available.



Additionally, many customers have had success working around issues similar to yours by resting in game for 18 hours or so, so you may want to try that.



Unfortunately, we do not have any solutions to your particular issues yet.



The development team has announced that they are working on a patch to address many issues similar to those that you have noted. However, I can not supply any information on when such a patch will be released, or when it may be released.

im actually really stuck i did all the quests i got done with hard answers and shes not at red flaggon or at winterhold she is at the temple where u first meet her and i attacked her and restarted speaking with silance but then wont restart hard answeres just to do the pursuit i am so freaking confused what to do

Try downloading the 1.1 patch from xbox live, they released it about the same time as the game. I had the same problem and that seemed to fix it.
