I need Sims 2 cd key?

My sons Sims 2 has disappeared on the program list and when we search for it the computer wont open it. we have all the disks etc, but we threw out the white slips the cds came in and the code with them not realising it. This is legitimate. I sthere any way we can gte another code or do we have to ring EA games. Please help.

If your son registered the game, you can retrieve your codes from the EA Games website (not the main sims site). Go to eagames.com, log in (same username and password as for the sims site) and then go to your profile, the codes will be listed there. Otherwise, you should be able to find them in the registry - I can't remember the exact location but there are instructions on the web about how to do it so try Googling for it.

You should buy a cheap expansion for the game (giving it a new code) add that code on to the install it onto the computer. Hopefully this will get your game back. (Plus your son will be very happy he has a new expansion!)
