***WOTLK LEVEL CAP***
Congrats you've either reached 80, or you're about to!
As a warning I must say that the first time you level cap, you will probably be quite jumbled by the overload of new things introduced to you. The best way to get around this learning curve is through veteran guidance and slow progression into features unlocked at the cap, namely raids, heroics, and arena.
***PVE***
- The first thing I suggest you do when you hit the 80 mark is to go learn your new talents, respec for raiding and pick a heroic to do. Since you've done these instances before it shouldn't be too diffucult to pick your first one to run.
- After you've chosen your heroic, head on over to WoW Wiki and read all the fights
- KNOWING YOUR FIGHTS IS CRUCIAL TO SUCESS! Be it a heroic or a 25s you MUST know what is going on during encounters.
- GEAR: Gear is essential to sucessful WoW raiding. Before you start picking up random blues that you *can* wear, but maybe *shouldn't* wear from heroics, I strongly suggest reading up about your class beforehand. Learn what stats your spec can make use of and which are junk. STATS: Know your stats! If you don't know what your stats do - then you can't possibly gear your character correctly.
***RAIDS***
- The order you will visit raids should go something like this:
NAXX(10) Naxxramas, in eastern dragonblight
VOA(10) Vault of Archavon, in wintergrasp
OS(10) Obsidian Sanctum, under the wyrmest temple
EOE(10) Eye of Eternity, in coldarra
NAXX(25)
VOA(25)
OS(25)
EOE(25)
Ulduar(10) Ulduar, in northern storm peaks
Ulduar(25)
ToC(10) Trial of the Crusader, in northeastern icecrown
ToC(25)
H ToC(10) Heroic ToC
H ToC(25)
- In patch 2.3, blizzard has confirmed that we will get Icecrown citadel and also that 2.3 will be WOTLK's last patch. See you in Cataclysm!
