On Fallout 3, where is Sydney?

Question

I talked to A.W. to get the quest Stealing the Independence and I Met Sydney and teamed up with her to find the Declaration of independence. I get to the room with Button Gwinnet and she disappears. Then, she is supposed to be at Rivet City first, so I grab her dad's holotape and go to Rivet City and she is not there, then I look in the Ninth Cirlce, Nothing. Check both Museum Station and Anacosta Station, no body. Where could she be?? I want here "Ultra" SMG.

I believe it should be towards the bottom left hand corner of the map somewhere.. Good luck

Sydney is only a temporary companion. She's only your companion for the quest Stealing Independence. She can be killed anytime during the quest. I wouldrecommendd finishing the quest so that you can get the Schematics to the Railway Rifle. The Railway Riffle is great for crippling enemies (Deathclaws legs). The best companion I have found in Fallout 3 is Dogmeat. You can find him south of the Minefield at the Scrapyard. The best part about having Dogmeat is that (if you have the DCL's) there is a perk called Puppies! upon reachingLevell 22. So if Dogmeat is killed, all you have to do is fast travel to Vault 101 and there will be a brand new Dogmeat for you. Plus Dogmeat doesn't work on the Karma system so he wont leave you if you are to good or bad.

Are you sure she didn't die in the quest in the one of the corridors? That's what happened to me, one minute she was behind me; then she was gone. If not, I think she hangs in the bar in Rivet City or in Underworld?

You could wait a few days in game and she might show up in one of those places.



Ok after a bit of googling, it sounds like she disappears a lot lol. Most people waited a few ingame days and found her wandering around Rivet City.

Look outside the boat of Rivet City. She's probably stuck right outside (across the bridge & opposite of the "market entrance" door). If not, then re-check the Ninth Circle after a couple days (just use the wait option).
