Sims 2!

I don't all the expansions are out for Sims 3? Well all the Sims 2 ones are out and there so cool. I only have 5 atm but I hope to get more. I buy them off my friend for £10 each..

Sims 2 is easier to understand TRUST ME.

I played Sims 3 for like an hour and got bored because you just can't work anything out :P

That might be me being stupid but...

It depends I say you should try them for yourself. Everybody is different. But I find Sims 2 easier to understand and with the expansion packs, it's twice as better!

Oh and your other question, yeah. I used DAYMON Tools Lite. or something to download Sims 2 before I actually brought it. And thats how I got to try Sims 3 aswell :)

Sims 3 is a lot more advance than Sims 2, I thought I liked Sims 2 better but then when I played it I figured out that I actually like Sims 3 a lot better. Sims 2 can be a lot more fun if you have all of the expansions, but having just Sims 2 and nothing else Sims 3 is a lot more fun. Sims 3 expansions I think are a lot more fun. And to your second question, I'm not sure if you can do that I'd think you'd need the disk to play!

i like sims 3 and sims 2 both sims 2-u have already allot of ep(expansion packs) and sp(stuf packs) and having only very little bugs and glitches with sims 3-u can roam around freely unlike in sims 2 u have to call for a taxi or walk to the lot but u cant visit neighbors but in sims 3 u can but it loads slow and saves slow and in sims 2 u can be a vampire ware wolf and a plant sim how cool is that (or atleast me for my eps) in sims 3 all u can get is a vampire so far

Personally, The Sims 1 always holds a special place in my heart :)

Between these two though.. Hmm.. I personally believe The Sims 3 to be the better game here.

Reasons:

The Sims 3 is the most up to date/current game.

Always being updated

Expansions are coming out (Latest being "Late Night" which is AWESOME!)

Much better graphics

The Sims are easier to manage (don't always need the bathroom or food.. Leaving you to do the fun stuff :D)

Exploration of the whole town.. Feel like going to the store? In The Sims 2.. This requires a load screen as most things do.. Yet in The Sims 3 you can just walk/jog/run/drive straight there in no time :D

Also I don't believe you can get The Sims 2 now on a legal digital download.. Yet The Sims 3 and it's Expansions are available here:

http://eastore.ea.com/store/eaemea/en_GB/ContentTheme/pbPage.sims3uk

However The Sims 2 though is still an amazing game.. But I'm still going to have to say that 3 is the better game :)

The majority of the time the latest games are better as they have so much more to offer and in theory should be a generally better game as the developers know where the game needs to improve. Go for both, if you cannot afford both then go for Sims 3.

the sims 3 obviously cause its newer than the sim 3 . the sims 3 allows you to go to different places around your city but the sims 2 only lets you stay in your house i think. You can buy and download the game at the EA website, http://eastore.ea.com/store/ea/pd/productID.105153500

if you asked my girlfriend she would say sims 2, simply because of the pets expansion.

thats one thing you may want to consider. if you are planning on buying a few expansions, then I would say the sims 2, simply because all the expansions are already out, and you have plenty of choices, and most of them come bundled with two or three expansion packs together for the price that one would normally cost.

if however, you look at the expansions available for the sims 3, and you think those look better to you, than I would choose sims 3.

in terms of graphics, the two games IMO are pretty close, especially if you add some of the later expansions to the sims 2, when i first played the sims 3 it kind of felt to me that the sims seems much more cartoony than in the sims 2.
