I love FSX and I want to put a flight sim in my room. First, I want to make sure I have the right setup before I invest thousands of dollars into it. I'll be using a mixture of products from CH, Satiek, VR Insight, etc, and I don't want to have a single computer related problem. I've been planing this for months and I've come up with a design but I don't know what kind of computer to buy. I'll be using 3 monitors for scenery, 2 for panels, 1 for an EFB, and 1 for a GPS. Definitely high def and HDMI only, except the GPS which is VGA. This computer would be only for FSX and a few other simulation games.

So, for FSX ?:
Intel or AMD
Windows XP, Vista, or 7

Those are the only either/or questions I can think of, but I need opinions on other things like:
Hard Drive
Memory
RAM
Brand
Graphics !!!

So, what computer or computer setup is best for FSX?
What do you have?
What should I get?

Also, how do I set up all my monitors? I want to mount them and I'd like High Def. What do I need.
Also, what kind of add-ons do you have for FSX?
What do you think of:
AES
Captain Sim
Wilco Publishing
Aerosoft
FS Captain/Passengers/Crew

Anything Else?

Thanks
