Sims 3 rotate and zoom are really slow?

Question

I installed the latest patch (4.10.1.011031) and when i made a new game, the rotate and zoom buttons (even on the keyboard) move really slow. It's annoying, and I've uninstalled all my mods and it's still like that.
Anyone help?

this sometimes happens to me during the game when i'm running other programs. shut down the sims and make sure you are not running any other programs like the internet and exit whatever you can in the task bar, eg i exit my anti virus software because sometimes it will automatically scan and make the sims go slow. try restarting sims and if it's still moving slow then perhaps you need to clean some disk space on your computer

Hi, so I was having the exact same problems as you were. What you need to do is empty your cache and take out your mods folder. (Just put it on the desktop or something.) Also, make sure you don't have any remnants of mod framework in the Computer directory (Instead of Documents> EA> Sims 3). Here's also a link to a program on ModTheSims that lets you easily clear your cache and identify mods that conflict with other mods. Although it doesn't identify out of date mods, it sure helps a lot.
