if you are a warlock yes. if you are a death knight, yes (but you arent because your lvl 18. death knights start at lvl 55).



if you are not a warlock then no you cannot get a battle pet.



well there are temporary battle pats you can get. but those arent until around 30-50

Unless you are a warlock, you cannot



[deathknights do have 'battle pets' but since you are level 18 you cannot unlock this class yet.]



If you wish you have a pet, pick a class named 'hunter'.

I do warn you, you cannot have a undead hunter,

Hunters have quite bad reputation aswell

Though you could make a new character and be a hunter (Blood elf, Orc, Tauren or Troll) or something..
