lvl 40 mage lvling WoW?

Question

I have just hit level 40! I play on the horde side and i do not know where the heck to level! I have tried tanaris but there were only 6 quests and all color-coded red. Where should i quest as horde at level 40?

Attached on the source link below is a great resource for what zone to quest in at any given level. Desolace and Felwood are not fantastic places to quest in and of themselves, but may provide the connecting XP you'll need from where you were at previously (I'm guessing Thousand Needles?). Also, the Badlands and Searing gorge are good for that level as well.



Unfortunately, quests seem to get a little dry at about 40, so it tends to bring out a bit of travel, and some low-level questing to get to the end of quest chains which will be yellow for your level. Good luck!

STV is a good place to level. Best to go like near booty bay and level.

Theramore Isle is good some mid 40's there just be sure you can handle them.

Hinterlands idk if the horde can go there i dont have a horde toon.



go to Thottbot.com is a good place to go for learning what spells you get in the future and where to level and such.

Stranglethorn Vale

Arathi Highlands

Swamp of Sorrows

Dustwallow Marsh



Those places should be close to your level.
