How do you get to Outland in World of Warcraft?

Someone told me there is a portal, but where is the portal and how do you get there?

The portal is in Badlands. You have to be level 58 to enter and you just walk through. Or you can have a mage port you there just ask in trade for a port to Shatt. There should be a portal to Badlands in your main city I would suggest looking around the mage trainers. And just a note you have to have Burning Crusade to go to Outlands.

The Dark Portal is in the south east area of the Blasted Lands.



There are also portals to the Blasted Lands in each respective capital city near the mage trainers.



You also need The Burning Crusade expansion installed to enter Outland.

1. Once you are level 58, you can use the portal in Orgrimmar or Stormwind to teleport to the Blasted Lands, near the Dark Portal. Once you pass through the Portal, you will be at the Stair of Destiny. There, you can fly to Thrallmar or Honor Hold. At level 60, you can purchase a flying mount and flight riding training there, so you don't need to go to Dalaran. 2. See above. If you have an offer to port to Dalaran, yes, it's a good idea to set your hearth there, as it will help significantly once you hit 68. 3. This is correct. The Dark Portal leads to the Stair of Destiny, in Hellfire Peninsula.

In Stormwind or Orgrimmar, there's a port to go to Blasted Lands and the portal is right there to go to Outlands.



In Stormwind, the portal is in the Mage Tower.



In Orgrimmar, if you ask a mage to port you to Orgrimmar, once you get there, the port is RIGHT THERE to go to Blasted Lands.

Or you can just go to org and tip a mage to port to dalaran! then use the ports there to go to wherever (shattrath for outland)

The portal is in the Blasted Lands, in the Eastern Kingdoms. To get there, go down from the Swamp of Sorrows. Just head down the path through Blasted Lands, it'll lead you to the portal, which is massive and easy to see.

If you are Alliance go to Stormwind and south to the Blasted Lands. For Horde take the zepplin in Ogrimmar to Stranglethorn Vale and go right to Blasted Lands. Or do what John said.
