I wouldn't risk it, because stuff from the previous patches are still in effect, like gun recoil nerfs etc. I seriously doubt that DICE would include all the previous information from the last patchs in the new patch, so I say don't do it :P

Those big patches are not only improvements, but are also full content Expansion packs. If you remove one, you are likely to remove a downloaded Expansion pack. Probably one you paid for, as well you wont be able to play Online because if someone were to have a gun in one of those packs you would not be able to load it.

Its abit silly how it works. Forcing you to also download maps you cant play on till you purchase? pfft.. but hey, its understandable. You can't well expect to play Online, pick up a gun and magically have the data to use it, or to even see it for that matter.

When you buy the Expansion packs you are really buying a Activator thats about 2.0kb. So to the point here, If you remove those packs you will lose all ability to play Online.

battlefield 3 hacking keeps you at the top of the leaderboard, and ensures that the body count never stops and upgrades keep on coming. Some of the best hacks are:

Instant Kill hack – Gives you an instant kill as soon as your bullets hit a target, as simple as that. Doesn’t matter where the bullets hit – if there is contact, they bite the dust and you win.

Aimbot – Locks your target crosshair onto an enemy as soon as they enter your field of vision. You can configure the distance up to which you want enemies to be locked on to, as well as the body part you want to target. Sophisticated features such as cullet path correction and movement prediction increase weapon accuracy

No Recoil hack – Reduces the recoil of all weapons after they fire. This means that after firing a shot, the weapon does not bounce back at all, and you can hit your targets easily.

No Spread hack – After you use this hack, bullets fired from your weapon travel in a straight line and travel straight to your target – which means that you do not spray bullets all over the battlefield and can kill without wasting any ammo

Automatic Knifing – Performs an automatic melee attack as soon as an enemy ventures too close to you. Effective in preventing enemies from getting the hang on you, and helps you to stab them in the back as well

Radar Hack – Adds a small radar to the HUD, which displays the locations of enemies, friendly soldiers and vehicles around your player. Enemies and friendlies are shown differently so that you can effectively plan your next move.

All BF3 hacks are punkbuster safe (PunkBuster is EA’s software, which is used to weed out online players who use a modified version of the game). As soon as Punkbuster is running a scan of your system, you will be notified and the game will shut down. In this way, your copy of the game is protected.
