In your opinion which was the best Final Fantasy game?

It's Summer and I have a lot of free time on my hand. In your opinion, what are the 2 best Final Fantasy games for Playstation/PS2?
Don't say any PS3 or DS or PSP FF's because I don't have the console.

Can I still list PS1 FF games?



Because the best ones are FFVII and FFIV. You can get them both for PS1. You can even get FFIV cheap in a collection for PS1 that comes with FFV as well.



But if you meant 2 PS2 FF's that are awesome, then thats impossible. FFX was awesome, but every other PS2 FF was a huge fail. FFX-2 sucked, so did FFXII.

Final Fantasy X on the PS2 was the best. It had the best storyline that kept you hooked, great gameplay and graphics, wonderful characters, weapons, abilities etc. and heaps of extras at the end to keep you playing.



Final Fantasy VIII is next on the PS1. Good storyline, different concept with the Junction System and GFs, but it paid off. Graphics are a little less because it's on PS1, but gameplay is still good.



If you like Final Fantasy, you may enjoy Kingdom Hearts, which is similar cos it contains FF characters, but incorporates them into Disney. Still very FF-based though.

Final Fantasy IX is just so damn awesome. It's more involved, has a better story and is generally better than the other FF's. After that Play XII which is also incredible. FFX is good but very stinted, and stiff. VIII is great but very hit and miss, and FFVII is just over too quickly, even if you want to do all the side missions. FFIX has good replay value too.

Final Fantasy X, and

Final Fantasy VII, VII is for PS1 but it will work for PS2 but it is impossible to find outside of auction sites and is expensive.



If you dont wanna spend the money to buy FFVII, Get FF X-2 its the third best and is also the sequel to FFX (its one of the few FF sequels)



FFX, FFVII and FFX-2 have to be my top three PS2 games.

Any Final Fantasy title from VII through XII (possibly including Final Fantasy XI, but it's an MMORPG, not a full-fledged series entry). It comes down to personal preference - I'm a Final Fantasy VIII person myself, but you may not agree after trying it.

very final fable X-2 an fairly progressed gadget...the Dresspeheres made the interest extra complicated and extra helpful... additionally...i like the bevelle one hundred chamber area... Treama grow to be so confusing to triumph over... yet you get this merchandise that will boost each little thing by potential of one hundred cept success....gets up by potential of 50.... VII Sucks
