Skyrim crashes when I try to shout (pc version)?

Okay, so it started in my last session. I tried to shout at a dragon and the game just crashes and goes to desktop. So I go, okay, I'll wait till later and reset. Kill the dragon after game crashes a couple more times due to me confirming that yes it was me pressing the z key that caused the game to crash, do a few more quests, no big deal. Save, quit, restart the computer, start the game up again and head to the greybeards to actually start the "main" story line. I try to do the shout again, game crashes again. I've tried at least five times to do a shout and each time it crashes.

I'm subscribed via steam workshop to some graphical enhancements, namely the Graphics and Sounds +++ collection. But I don't think any of those could crash my game. I'm going to start going through and unsubscribing to this stuff and see if any of them have any effect, starting with the one that was most recently updated. But I'd like a second opinion, what do you think/know is wrong?

P.s. My computer is brand new with a really good graphics card and everything. So I don't think it's my computer either.

Have you even tried disabling the mod from the workshop? Some third party mod tend to screw up the main game files a lot especially mods that are new and just released.

Also if your PC can run and play Skyrim smoothly then I really doubt your computer has anything to do with it.

This is the same issue I'm having. I'm able to load up my game and play, but whenever I try shouting, my game would crash to desktop. At first, I thought it was because of the mod I've been working on, but it still didn't fix the issue even after disabling it. All of my mods and the mods I have subscribed are compatible, so I didn't think that was the issue, but I did notice a recent Skyrim update that Steam downloaded. I wasn't having this issue a few days ago so I'm thinking this could be a bug that is caused by the recent update. This is just guess, so I could be wrong.

P.s. I doubt your having computer issues if your exceeding the requirements to run game.

im having the same problem. whenever i try to use the marked for death shout or unrelenting force the game crashes to desktop immediately. this is even more annoying when the draugr decide to shout and cause my game to crash as well. ive uninstalled all my shouting mods and updated the other mods aswell to no avail. i can't find the source of the problem let me know if u find a solution.

*edit* i uninstalled realistic thunder sounds and sounds of skyrim as well and now i have no crashes. the mod author also hid sounds of skyrim from view making me think hes working to correct this problem. hopefully ill have my truly terrifying dungeons back soon but in the mean time im just happy being able to play the game :D.

*edit** never mind still crashing when i shout :(. seems uninstalling realistic thunder sounds wasnt the only thing i needed to do :(.

*edit*** fixed (hopefully) climates of tamriel also effects sounds apparently so i had to uninstall that. it seems the game crashes if you have any mods that effect sound.

*edit**** so i fixed the shout crashes but now it crashes to desktop after freezing randomly... i give up ill just wait for someone on the nexus to post a video about this. until then i shouldnt stress myself out.

Found a fix for this, I disabled a mod "realistic thunder sounds" it has fixed it, so maybe check if you have any mods that change the sound, solved the problem for me.

Definitely the new patch, cannot find anything anywhere about this happening, just started happening tonight, and you are the first post I have found about it :@ :@ :@
