I've "given up" on WoW about 3 times now, and after some time away I go back. Right now I'm in a time away phase. So cancel your account, but keep the software installed on your computer. A time will probably come when you want to go back and play some more. It really is a well-made game, and a bunch of fun.

And by the way, I've learned not to focus on levels. Just enjoy the questing, the plot lines and process. The levels will come. If you get bored with that, just level a toon to a "9" level (19, 29, 39) and spend some time in the battlegrounds. A typical bg battle lasts about 20-30 minutes, which isn't bad, and you get to fight real other players, rather than the NPCs you usually fight on quests. I've had a lot of fun just doing bgs.

Final thought. I've actually met some pretty nice friends online in my guilds. So join a guild, and not only do you meet cool people to chat with while you play, but they can help you with some of the harder quests, getting good gear, etc.

Have fun!

I got to lvl 70 and did lots of high level raids and then quit because it bored me.

MMORPG's are the kind of games where there is no shortcut to leveling up, if you don't enjoy the game and don't like the leveling feature, I suggest you play something else. It doesn't get any easier and there are no shortcuts. If you keep doing quests, killing things, and stick on task, you should level moderately fast.

If you still don't enjoy it even when going to quest hubs and learning the leveling spec for your class, I guess it just isn't the game for you.

First off I'd need to know what spec your going in each talent tree's.For lvl'ing a pally Ret is best. On lock's I went Demon to lvl so the pet would be taking the hits (use Voidwalker) and not me. My account is down atm..but I play on the Udlaman US sever (all horde) and have toons on Gnomeran US sever (all ally) as well. I'll set my account here where you can email me and let me know which sever and your toons name and I'd be happy to log into my hubbys WoW account and talk to your in game and give you some tips, if you want :)

I'd say yes. If you do, you should download Perfect World International. (http://pwi.perfectworld.com) and play that. It's free, and it's got better quest, story line, community, AND Graphics than WoW!

if you enjoy it and can balance a good social life with it, do so. but the minute your choosing to play wow instead of meeting up with friends id leave it alone for a little bit ;)

The question says it all. Quit now and play something else.
