Why don't Game Freak create an Android/iOS version of Pokemon Fire Red and other versions? The only way to play them on these phones is through GBA and trading and battling with friends is not possible. Creating a separate enhanced version of the game for the android and iOS phones will surely be very profitable.

yes but what they should do is re-release yellow version. revamp it and make it more like the original series and maybe even add jhoto as well as kanto. make it for the DS and they would make a killing. i would go and buy a DS just for that one game. they would make so much money. but i do agree they need to re-release the other revamped games onto a new format to please older fans

You may think it would be profitable, but I can think of 2 reasons why they don't. 1. They don't think they will profit from it. 2. they never thought of it.
