Why wont the cheat code work for the sims 2?

Ok......its on a laptop and i have the sims 2 double deluxe. I keep pressing Ctrl Shift C, but the menu wont come up. Can someone tell me why it won't work? Is it because its a laptop? Or do i need an additional game installed? Please answer accuratley. I really want this cheat. Tell me how to make it work. I have an HP Pavilion laptop.

Most HP laptops come with helper applications that take over the use of Ctrl Shift C. But the problem sometimes appears with other laptops too because of keyboard utilities that map hot keys to other functions.



That's why it's not working.

I had a laptop and this cheat worked fine on it so I doubt it will be anything to do with it being a laptop.



Are you sure your holding Ctrl, Shift + C at the same time, because if not it wont work.



If you are, I'm not sure what else could be the problem with it...sorry if that's not much help :/

hold the Ctrl shift c together in for a few seconds....no its not the laptop cuz i play sims 2 all the time on my laptop and the cheats go in just fine but thats about it
