I hear that I can get some gear from Jewelcrafting, but I’m really lost. It says that I need copper and stuff and I never came across it on stormwind. Please tell me as much as you can about Jewelcrafting and where to find these items.

first.. things first

Proffesions- Jewelcraft needs Mining proffesion as well ( this is if your broke or starting in a new server or don't have any main toons to supply you with ores or gold)

Mining- learning this skill allows you a skill called " Find Minerals" you can access this at our top right corner minimap around it has buttons one of these buttons will be a magnifying glass. click it and check the box " find minerals" this will allow you to find all ores you can mine on your map in the vacinity ( it shows on your minimap not world map ) they will be displayed as yellow dots.

usually ores vary from area to area one area might be rich in copper another with iron and so on.

Stormwind is famous for it's copper theirs so many to mine but here is the catch ( since their is alot of human characters people often mine it up quickly even the high levels ) other places are rich in copper as well many of the lv 20 areas have lots of copper too and some tin.

getting started with jewelcrafting- when you learned jewel crafting you have gotten a skill called "prospect" you can access this skill by press K i believe and putting in on your keybinds. now to prospect you need 5 ores ( of the same type) such as 5 iron, 5 copper, 5 silver, so on. you click the prospect and click on the ores and it will find Jewels in the ores for you to use in jewelcrafting. you will need a lot of ores to do this. some jewels are rare and so are some ores.

now jewelcrafting also recquires smelting. smelting is where you melt the ores ( usually it's just one ore it could be 2 ores or more and different ores as well it just depends on the bars ) you need to smelt them into bars and use the bars to make stuff in Jewelcrafting such as copper wire or copper frames and you combine this with the jewels you found in the ores to make an item. upgrade your skills frequently mining will go by fast jewelcrafting will take time.

thats really the basics of jewel crafting.

PS- i highly suggest you make the items that YOU have the materials for such as if it recquires say leather which you obviously cannot get on your own DO NOT MAKE THIS UNLESS YOU REALLY REALLY NEED IT BADLY. this is a waste of time and money. and will only get upgraded later on unless your lv 85 and already geared for raiding.

playing lower back? properly... if so use your previous account, or communicate with snowstorm's shopper help in case you pick help getting it lower back, i'm constructive they're going to be happy to try this. comparable with in case you got a sparkling reproduction that's a dud, call them. once you're adamant over in basic terms getting a "new" key for unfastened... they I easily question the truthfulness of this request. people who purchase the sport have not got spare keys, they use the keys they purchase.

You either need to pick up a second profession, like mining, that can help you get the materials you need or ask around and buy them off someone/auction house.

enjoying returned? properly... if so use your previous account, or communicate with snow fall's shopper provider in case you prefer help getting it back, i'm specific they are going to be happy to try this. same with in case you got a sparkling reproduction it somewhat is a dud, call them. while you're adamant over purely getting a "new" key for loose... they I somewhat question the truthfulness of this request. people who purchase the sport don't have spare keys, they use the keys they purchase.
