Question:
In First person games, why is it that some use inverted mouse (or inverted Y-axis) and some do not?

Most people do not use the inverted mouse thingy. I belong to the minority who uses it.

Is it because of how a person's brain is wired? Or is it the way we look at things? Or any other reasons?

By the way, inverted mouse means that when you move the mouse forward, the person in the game looks downwards and when the mouse is moved downwards, the person looks upwards

This have nothing to do with your mind. You probably started playing FPSs with inverted mouse and now you are used to play like that. I plaid with inverted mouse, but I played a normal mouse FPS and it took me some days to get used to it.

I do this, but not for games that use a mouse, but if it uses analog stick. I think its cause I figure moving the controller is like moving your head. If I push my head forward I look down, if I pull my head back I look up. So I always kind of thought of it like that.

Either that or I've played too much flight sims and now its just hard-wired into me. Who knows? :P

Its just a matter of preference. I used to use inverted when I played Halo:CE, but now I dont. I just got used to the normal layout. I can just as easily switch whatever game Im playing to inverted and still be able to play, simply because Ive used it before and know how to use it.
