I am using an Intel Mac, with Mac osX Tiger, with a 2 GHz Intel Core Duo prosessor, and I want to play the Halo demo on it. I've downloaded it, but when I try to run it, all I get is a big white screen with this written on it:
----------------------

Quick Time(tm) and a TIFF (LZW) decompressor are needed to see this picture.

-----------------------

Then I get the standard "The application quit unexpectedly" message, and it closes. Any idea what I need to do?

P.S. This is the halo 1 demo, not 2 or 3.

Check if there's FAQ for the demo where you've downloaded it from. Also, you might want to look up what those TiFF and QT decompressor are. Apparently, and obviously, you'll need to download them. Maybe it has something to do with your graphic card, which I sort of doubt though. May you please include the name and model of your graphic card for further advice?

Hey man I have a demo of Halo on an iMac as well if you get these errors its probably that you downloaded a mod or a patch Try downloading a demo version of it it should be around 120 mb or a bit more try downloading it from the apple website or macfiles. Or I can vs you someday try and find it and extract it if it doe sent work try downloading it from the apple website. Most things you download from an apple website is from the macfiles website. Good Luck.
