I know a lot of people is having high ping on PC and I have a similar problem in CoD : BO2. My ping is not that high. In game it is about 80-100 ms but what worries me most is that when I go to www.speedtest.net it says my ping is 18 ms and download speed is 7.8 Mbps. There is a big difference between in game and out of the game. I lowered my graphics, killed shadows and every similar thing that could make me lag. I set search preferences to 100 ms and my FPS is about 90. It is still slow because people I play with have ping around 45 ms which is two times faster than mine. I saw a lot of videos on YT about lag and high pings, tried them all but they are supposed to reduce your ping from 450 to 175 ms. I downloaded TCPOptimizer and Leatrix_Latency_Fix_3.00 but it didn't help. Anyone of you reading who plays CoD or Battlefield knows what it is like when you are watching a killcam of you dying and you never saw that coming on your screen while you were firing the whole magazine in that ***** that killed you and he didn't get a scratch from your bullets.

I want to know if anyone of you PC gamers who reads this knows any program that could make my ping lower than 50 ms or so.
Thank you very much :D

I doubt it has anything to do with graphics and your game pings high because thats the time it take for a round trip to the COD server. my best guess is your connecting to a server that is very far away. try and find a server hosting the game closer to you if you can choose. when i play free2play games that start from the browser. i close the browser when the game client starts to prevent the browser from updating adds and stuff.

if your trying to do this over wifi you should get yourself wired to your router. wifi just sucks no matter how much net you have. if the game using steem. in my experience its a resource hog and bandwidth steeler.

Just connect and play on servers nearest in your geographical location.

If you're from US, then connect on US servers. If you're from Europe, then connect on European servers. This will decrease ping when playing COD
