K9 Web protection is blocking minecraft?

Question

My dad had installed K9 web and when i join a server even my own after 10 seconds it disconnects me saying
Internal exception: java.net.socketException: software caused connection abort: recv failed
What I did:
Removed firewall didn't work
Ported minecraft didn't work
my antivirus is allowed
Java reinstalled fully updated
i disabled k9 for an hour but it still didnt work
and i recently formated and only had Java k9 and mc on my computer but still didn't work my dad doesnt want to remove k9 and im sure its not my modem i have my laptop with me (doesnt have k9) using my wifi it was working perfeclty i dont have any packet loss or high ping
if anyone knows a solution please tell me

We have noticed a conflict with K9 Web Protection and Minecraft. However, in the latest release of Minecraft, version 1.7.2, the issue has been resolved. Please make sure you are using the latest version of Minecraft and are playing on a server using version 1.7.2 or later. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Minecraft is quite an addictive game and if you cannot get enough of this application, then you can have a get sneak preview in this beta version. In this pre-release, the fundamentals of the game did not change at all.

For me, it's the best game ever.
