Gaming - Metal Slug with Emulator! Safe?

Question

I hve just dwnldd Metal Slug Series to play for pc but it contains a MaME Emulator , i have to run this application in order to play the metal slug, just wonnderingif its harmful for pc or registry (i have windows 7 32-bit ultimate) bcoz its an emulator , i have tried an ps2 emulator before, it was headache,so what shud i do run the app and play :_?
i also have road rash 1996 game which needs to run a file in its folder first ( not MaME) but it will edit registry to run road rash, so is it safe too?
plus where can i download tekken 3 for pc which have 2 players compatibilty, i have one called PORTABLE TEKKEN 3 by xero but it is single player only, i have another Tekken 3 but it is too has Emulator, lol

Mame is an awesome emulator. I never heard of an emulator causing any problems at all with registry... I've been using various ones (everything from Spectrum to PS2) with no problems for years.



Download MameUI (formerly known as Mame32) which includes a front-end for Windows (a graphical user interface to make it easier to browse games), and work on building a good collection!
