"gta_sa exe has stopped working" how can i solve this?

well i recently bought grand theft auto san andreas for PC and when i start the mission after the first cutscene the game crashes and says, "gta_sa exe has stopped working" i have reasearced the problem and the results have being loads of technical stuff i cant understand, im not a computer wizz and dont understand it, i just want my game to work i litterly just made this account to ask this question , a simple solution please, thanks.

if your game is crashing trying to load the playable game (after the cutscene) it usualy means that your computer does not have enough RAM to run the game, you can reduce the chanses of this happening by right clicking on the games application, going to properties, then head over to the compatability tab and check the following boxes, (if your on Windows 7) other comps i would suggest using a free program called Game booster



run in 640 x 480 screen resolution

disable visual themes

disable desctop composition

disable display scaling on high DPI settings

This problem is usually a disk space problem what does it say in the dialog box "Apphang B1" or something else? It can also be resolved by right-clicking on it and selecting run as administrator.

it could be that either your drive c is full up or you need an up to date drivers for the game to work before installing it check the disk recomend then check your drive c but most it would be that you have to update drivers to play it
