Hi,

I'm thinking of playing Mass Effect 3 as a Vanguard. Is the Vanguard good?

It seems like the Vanguard would have an advantage in saving Ammo, and have a really easy time killing enemies that are off by themselves.

What do you think of the Vanguard?

Thanks for input.

I, personally, am not a very big fan of the Vanguard. Yes, the Vanguard kicks MAJOR *** and is very fun to play as in battle, but if you don't upgrade your health enough as a Vanguard, your an easy kill for you enemies. Especially since the Vanguard has to get up close and personal to make a real dent. Even when you do that, your still a very vulnerable target.

I love the vanguard, when it works correctly. It's kind of bugged, sometimes you won't charge even when you have a clear view of the enemy. This killed me a couple of times. Also because of the stupid cover system that makes you stick to everything, sprinting away if you are overwhelmed can be tricky.

Otherwise, if you enjoy high risk for big rewards and being right in the middle of the action, this is the best class in the game.

I played as vanguard. Shockwave sucks, but pull and fire ammo are really good. Shotgun and pistol combo for the win!

The vangard is a good class, although it really just depends on your preferences. If you think that you will just use powers, try the adept or vangard. I prefer to use the infiltrator because of the fact that you can go invisible. But it's all down to your preference and power usage.
