How do i resurrect in World of Warcraft?

Recently my son's character died and we can't figure out how to resurrect

i am so sorry. WoW has permadeath and you cannot resurrect. you can explore the world as a spirit but if you want to play again you must create a new character

You should have wound up as a ghost at the nearest grave yard. Walk to where your corpse is located, and it will give you the option to resurrect once you get within range of the corpse. There will be a marker on your map indicating where your corpse is, and there may even be an arrow on the mini map in the corner that will point you in the right direction.

Click release spirit when you die. Then walk back to your body on the map. It will be labeled as a tombstone on it. Then when your close enough you can hit respawn.
