Animal Crossing cheats for the DS?

Money tree that MUST grow



First, you need an axe. It's probably a whole lot easier if you have the golden axe, but if you don't then just buy one from Nook; it doesn't really matter what you do.

Next, find a tree relatively close to your house. It doesn't really matter what tree you choose either, but it's a good idea to do this nearby your house. Chop down the tree and dig up the stump but DO NOT-- do NOT-- cover the hole up.

You should have a golden shovel (the only way you can plant a money tree is with the golden shovel, but if you don't have it, put your shovel into a hole and wait for a day. You can have a lot of Golden Shovels, but I don't recommend it... they aren't any more rare than regular shovels). Take 1,000 bells out and bury it with the golden shovel. A sprout should come up.

Obviously, you can't step on the thing... otherwise it'll die. Make sure to water it every day, or until it has an actual trunk. I don't recommend time traveling for this, because you could probably lose your money, and that sucks.

There are many ways of making money. You could - Do the boring way - catching bugs and fish and selin em to tom nook. You could Also do this (I made money by doing this)

-On your DS Date and time etc system change the date to the 1.1.2000 and go onto animal crossing. Then check your post and as it is New years day you get 10,000 bells from your mum. Put that into the bank then save your game and go back to the DS system thing and change the date to 2099 then go back on. Check your mail and you should have a note from The Town Hall saying you have received 99,999 bells of interest. Keep doing this and you will have loads of money! YOu can pay your morgage off in about 10 - 20 mins! Be warned though. If you do this cheat you will have AlOt of WeEdS in your town but its all worth the money!

-you could also shake all the trees around the village and hit all the rocks with a shovel but this takes FoReVeR and you only get about 1000-2000 bells each day.

-You could also send a letter to everyone in your town saying I like fruit. and attach a shell to it as a present and they should write back with a peice of fruit from another town as a present! Plant that fruit and the when it is a tree shake the tree and plant more of them then when you have loads you can pick all the fruit off them and sell it to tom nook.

-To plant a money tree you get a money sack and bury it. it then comes up as a sapling !!!

Faster Shop Upgrades

When the shop is upgrading



When Tom Nook is upgrading the shop, save and quit. Turn on your DS and go to the DS Options. Set the day to 2 days ahead. Quit the options, saving when you do. Start up the DS and go to options again. Set the day 2 days back (to the current day.) Now save options and restart DS one more time. Now start the game. Nook's shop should have upgraded and is open!



See Tom Nook's house.

Take a regular shovel and hit the back of Tom Nook's store three times, then hit the front door one time to see Tom Nook in his PJ'S holding a teddy bear!



Fast Bank Interest

To get more money on Animal Crossing you have to put money in the bank. Then SAVE and turn off the DS. Turn the DS back on and go to the DS symbol at the bottom of the screen where you select game. Select it and go right one to the symbol of a calender and a clock. Select it and then go up to the calender symbol and select it. You will probably see that your year setting is set to whatever year it is. (for example 2006.) Go accross to the year column and change it to 2099. Then select confirm, go back, and then QUIT. Then it will say "The system will now shut down" and you must select yes. Turn the DS back on and select Animal Crossing Wild World. Continue your game and you will have gained interest!!!



WARNING: ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS CHEAT YOU WILL HAVE LOTS OF WEEDS IN YOUR VILLAGE AND BUGS IN YOUR HOUSE. (STEP ON THE BUGS AND PICK UP THE WEEDS WITH B .



Hold 10 Extra Items

This is a really easy trick. Just buy 10 letters, leave them blank, then pull an item onto it so that it becomes a present. Tada, 10 extra slots.

10,000 bells At New Years

Change the date to Jan 1st and check your mail. Your mom will have sent you 10,000 bells.

Same Old Date Trick

If you change the date on your DS it will also change the date in the game, allowing you to let fruit grow and making new fossil holes "pop up," just like in the Gamecube version of Animal Crossing.



99,999 Bells

First change the year on your DS to 2000, then put 1 bell in your acount, then save and turn off the power. Change the year to 2099 and get your 1 bell - it will be 99,999 bells. (this may not work first time you try it)
